LA Author is geared toward helping you, the reader, find good books and discover talented new authors. Although many of our authors are based in Los Angeles, we are including talented authors from anywhere in the world (although we only deal with English language written books).

Search for books by Genre or Author. You will only find professional level books on this site presented in a professional manner, books that can stand up to similar books by major publishers in any bookstore. Only authors accepted through submission and careful consideration become part of LA Author. Our focus is quality, not quantity. We are simply serving as another filter for the mass number of published books now available and making it easier for you to find a great read.

Contact us if you have questions, comments or suggestions. If you really enjoy a book that you find on this site, we encourage you to contact the author directly and let them know, but also please drop us a line so we’ll know which authors are appealing to readers and be able to make the site even better for you!

Lastly, if you find a talented independent author elsewhere that you believe we should include on our site, please send the author our link or send us information on the author and we will contact them.
